Sauna construction

A sauna is such a satisfying place that many people want one. Outside the geographical area where saunas are traditionally common, not many people actually get around to building one, even though they dream about owning one. This area is for those who want to take the plunge.

To become an owner of a sauna, you will generally either buy a module sauna (which looks a bit like a closet) or if you have more room, then build or let somebody build one for you. For building, the options are:

 - get a premanufactured kit,

 - build a sauna to plans that you can buy,

 - actually design and build one from scratch.

If you do your research and posess some minimal required skills, then the latter one will guarantee you the best result!

Books are a great help. The are good recommend Finnish and Estonian books on the subject, but there are also a range of English books on saunas. There is quite an extensive list compiled here.
